I saw this and I wrote below. It is easy to miss, but this butterfly’s wings don’t match. Nobody knows exactly why this happens. It could be environment, a genetic freak, or something else….
We are taught to prize balance –
in faces, in skill, in feeling.
Anything that leans is quietly marked as less.
When you are the one who leans, you know it.
You try to correct it.
The weight makes some things harder:
you tire sooner,
you feel more deeply on one side than the other.
Over time, the tilt teaches its own way forward.
You begin to move with it,
finding paths the straight cannot see.
The flaw becomes the form.
The lean becomes the lift.
